The application was submitted pursuant to the Foreign– Trade Zones Act, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81a–81u), and the regulations of the Board (15 CFR part 400). It was formally filed on September 26, 2005. The facilities for which subzone status is proposed are on two sites (more than 29 acres total; 299,545 sq. ft. of enclosed space) at 12100 Rivera Road in Whittier (22.9 acres; 1 building with 216,000 sq. ft.) and 10715 Shoemaker Road in Santa Fe Springs (6.3 acres; 1 building with 83,545 sq. ft.).
