The regulation at 7 CFR 6.33(a) provides that a fee will be charged for each license issued to a person or firm by the Licensing Authority in order to reimburse the Department of Agriculture for the costs of administering the licensing system under this regulation. The regulation at 7 CFR 6.33(a) also provides that the Licensing Authority will announce the annual fee for each license and that such fee will be set out in a notice to be published in the Federal Register. Accordingly, this notice sets out the fee for the licenses to be issued for the 2006 calendar year. Notice The total cost to the Department of Agriculture of administering the licensing system during 2005 has been determined to be $383,000 and the estimated number of licenses expected to be issued is 2,550. Of the total cost, $210,000 represents staff and supervisory costs directly released to administering the licensing system for 2005; $50,000 represents the total computer costs to monitor and issue import licenses for 2005; and $123,000 represents other miscellaneous costs, including travel, postage, publications, forms, Internet software development, and ADP system contractors. Accordingly, notice is hereby given that the fee for each license issued to a person or firm for the 2006 calendar year, in accordance with 7 CFR 6.33, will be $150.00 per license. In the March 1, 2005 Federal Register (70 FR 9911), GIPSA asked persons interested in providing official services in the geographic areas assigned to the official agencies named above to submit an application for designation. Applications were due by April 1, 2005. Aberdeen, Decatur, Hastings, McCrea, Missouri, and South Carolina, were the sole applicants for designation to provide official services in the entire area currently assigned to them, so GIPSA did not ask for additional comments on them. There were two applicants for the Wisconsin area: Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (Wisconsin) and Eastern Iowa. Wisconsin applied for designation to provide official services in the entire state of Wisconsin which was currently assigned to them. Eastern Iowa also applied for designation in all or part of the area currently assigned to Wisconsin. GIPSA asked for comments on the applicants for providing service in the Wisconsin area in the June 1, 2005, Federal Register (70 FR 31417). Comments were due by July 1, 2005. SUMMARY: The Lake Tahoe Basin Federal Advisory Committee will hold a 
meeting on September 20, 2005, at the North Tahoe Conference Center, 
8318 N. Lake Blvd., Kings Beach, CA. This Committee, established by the 
Secretary of Agriculture on December 15, 1998 (64 FR 2876), is 
chartered to provide advice to the Secretary on implementing the terms 
of the Federal Interagency Partnership on the Lake Tahoe Region and 
other matters raised by the Secretary.

DATES: The meeting will be held September 20, 2005, beginning at 1 p.m. 
and ending at 5 p.m.
