The notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of Mississippi is hereby amended to include the following areas among those areas determined to have been adversely affected by the catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his declaration of July 10, 2005: SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Bay, Franklin, Gulf, Okaloosa, Wakulla, and Walton Counties for Individual Assistance, (already designated for debris removal and emergency protective measures under the Public Assistance program, including direct Federal assistance. For a period of up to 72 hours, assistance for emergency protective measures, including direct Federal assistance, will be provided at 100 percent of the total eligible costs. The period of up to 72 hours at 100 percent excludes debris removal. This action terminates my appointment of Justo Hernandez as Federal Coordinating Officer for this disaster. SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster declaration 
for the State of Mississippi (FEMA-1594-DR), dated July 10, 2005, and 
related determinations.

    Pearl River, Simpson, and Hinds Counties for emergency 
protective measures (Category B) under the Public Assistance 
Program, including direct Federal assistance. For a period of up to 
72 hours, assistance for emergency protective measures, including 
direct Federal assistance, will be provided at 100 percent of the 
total eligible costs. The period of up to 72 hours at 100 percent 
excludes debris removal.
