The project is located on the Holyoke Canal System on the Connecticut River in Hampden County, Massachusetts.1 The Holyoke Canal System consists of three levels, and the project facilities are located between the first and second canal level. The project is one of nine FERC-licensed projects on the Holyoke Canal System. The Holyoke No. 4 Hydro Project has an installed generating capacity of 750 kilowatts (kW), and generates about 3,148,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy annually. Flows into the Canal System are regulated by HG&E through operation of the Holyoke Project No. 2004 according to the Comprehensive Canal Operations Plan (CCOP) and the Comprehensive Operations and Flow Plan (COFP).2 The project does not occupy any Federal lands. m. On Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at 8:30 a.m. (CDT), staff of the Office of Energy Projects will convene a cryogenic design and technical conference regarding the proposed Creole Trail LNG import terminal. The cryogenic conference will be held in the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Sulphur, Louisiana. The hotel is located at 102 Mallard St, Sulphur, Louisiana 70665. For hotel details call 337–625– 2500. In view of the nature of critical energy infrastructure information and security issues to be explored, the cryogenic conference will not be open to the public.
