Brief Description of amendments: The amendments revise the Technical Specification Section 3.7, ‘‘Plant Systems,’’ and Section 4.0, ‘‘Design Features,’’ to establish cask storage area boron concentration limits and to restrict the minimum burnup of spent fuel assemblies associated with spent fuel cask loading operations. Date of issuance: June 29, 2005. Effective date: As of the date of issuance and shall be implemented within 30 days. Amendment Nos.: 169 and 161. Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. NPF–2 and NPF–8: Amendments revise the Technical Specifications. Date of initial notice in Federal Register: May 25, 2005 (70 FR 30148). Effective date: As of the date of issuance and shall be implemented within 60 days. Amendment Nos.: 137 and 116. Facility Operating License Nos. NPF– 68 and NPF–81: Amendments revised the Technical Specifications. Date of initial notice in Federal Register: January 18, 2005 (70 FR 2898). No significant hazards consideration comments received: No. Tennessee Valley Authority, Docket No. 50–259 Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Unit 1, Limestone County, Alabama Date of application for amendment: July 8, 2004, as supplemented on April 15, 2005. Brief description of amendment: This amendment removes the requirement to maintain an automatic transfer capability for the power supply to the Low Pressure Coolant Injection inboard injection and recirculation pump discharge valves. The amendment also deletes references to Reactor Motor Operator Valve Boards D and E from the Technical Specifications. Date of issuance: June 20, 2005. Effective date: The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance. Amendment No.: 254. Facility Operating License No. DPR– 33: Amendment revised the Technical Specifications. The April 15, 2005, letter provided clarifying information that was within the scope of the initial notice and did not change the initial proposed no significant hazards consideration determination.
