El Paso Natural Gas Company; Notice of Tariff Filing

    Take notice that on June 30, 2005, El Paso Natural Gas Company 
(EPNG) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Volume No. 
1-A, the tariff sheets listed in the Appendix to the filing, with an 
effective date of August 1, 2005, but may become effective January 1, 
2006 if suspended for five months by EPNG.
    EPNG states that the proposed changes will result in an increase of 
approximately 10.5% based on the 12-month period ending March 31, 2005, 
as adjusted.
    Any person desiring to intervene or to protest this filing must 
file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of 
Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 385.214). Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a notice of
