Code section 408A requires information regarding conversions from traditional IRAs to Roth IRAs and distributions from Roth IRAs. Code section 530 requires information regarding distributions from Education IRAs. Form 8606 is used to report the required information. Current Actions: There are no changes being made to the form at this time. Type of Review: Extension of a currently approved collection. Affected Public: Individuals or households. Estimated Number of Respondents: 1,800,000. Estimated Time Per Respondent: 1 hour, 21 minutes. Estimated Total Annual Burden Hours: 2,428,170.
