—Minimize the burden of the collection

respond, including through the use of
appropriate automated, electronic,
mechanical, or other technological
collection techniques or other forms

Overview of This Information
The Department of Justice (DOJ),
Executive Office for United States
Trustees (EOUST), National Institute of
Justice (NIJ), has submitted the
following information collection request
to the Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) for review and clearance in
accordance with emergency review
procedures of the Paperwork Reduction
Act of 1995. OMB approval has been
requested by June 24, 2005. The
proposed information collection is
published to obtain comments from the
public and affected agencies. If granted,
the emergency approval is only valid for

New Collection.
(2) The title of the form/collection:
Application for Approval as a Nonprofit
Budget and Credit Counseling Agency.
(3) The agency form number, if any,
and the applicable component of the
department sponsoring the collection:
Form Number: None. Executive Office
for United States Trustees.
(4) Affected public who will be asked
or required to respond, as well as a brief
abstract: Primary: Not-for-profit
institutions. Agencies that wish to offer
credit counseling services. Other: None.
