SUMMARY: This notice announces a
meeting of the Environmental
Management Site-Specific Advisory
Board (EMSSAB), Idaho National
Engineering and Environmental
Laboratory. The Federal Advisory
Committee Act (Pub. L. No. 92–463, 86
Stat. 770) requires that public notice of
this meeting be announced in the
Federal Register.
DATES: Tuesday, May 17, 2005, 8 a.m.–
6 p.m.; Wednesday, May 18, 2005, 8
a.m.–5 p.m.
Opportunities for public participation
will be held Tuesday, May 17, from
12:15 to 12:30 p.m. and 5:45 to 6 p.m.;
and on Wednesday, May 18, from 11:45
a.m. to 12 noon and 4 to 4:15 p.m.
Additional time may be made available
for public comment during the
presentations.
These times are subject to change as
the meeting progresses, depending on
the extent of comment offered. Please
check with the meeting facilitator to
confirm these times.

potential impacts of Idaho National
Laboratory missions on the environment
and on the cleanup program.
• Receive presentations related to the
award of the new contract for the Idaho
Cleanup Program.
• Develop recommendations
addressing the approach to cleanup and
closure of the Subsurface Disposal Area
and the Idaho Nuclear Technology
Engineering Center.
Public Participation: The meeting is
open to the public. Written statements
may be filed with the Board either
