(‘‘the Act’’), BIFMA International (‘‘BIFMA’’) has filed written notifications simultaneously with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission disclosing (1) the name and principal place of business of the standards development organization and (2) the nature and scope of its standards development activities. The notifications were filed for the purpose of invoking the Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages under specified circumstances. Pursuant to section 6(b) of the Act, the name and principal place of business of the standards development organization is: BIFMA International, Grand Rapids, MI. The nature and scope of BIFMA’s standards development activities are: BIFMA develops safety and performance standards for office furniture products, e.g., desks, seating, files, other storage units and panel systems. The standards describe the specific tests that must be conducted and the level of performance that must be achieved for a product to be in compliance with the standard. (‘‘the Act’’), Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (‘‘CableLabs’’) has filed written notifications simultaneously with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission disclosing changes in its membership. The notifications were filed for the purpose of extending the Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages under specified circumstances. Specifically, Westman Communications Group, Brandon, Manitoba, CANADA; Atlantic Broadband LLC, Quincy, MA; and Campbell River TV, Campbell River, British Columbia, CANADA have been added as parties to this venture. In addition, the memberships of Shaw Communications Inc., Calgary, Alberta, ´ ´ CANADA; and Videotron Ltee, Montreal, Quebec, CANADA, have been registered. No other changes have been made in either the membership or planned activity of the group research project. Membership in this group research project remains open, and CableLabs intends to file additional written notification disclosing all changes in membership. On August 8, 1988, CableLabs filed its original notification pursuant to section 6(a) of the Act. The Department of Justice published a notice in the Federal Register pursuant to section 6(b) of the Act on September 7, 1988 (53 FR 34593).
