SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given
pursuant to the National Environmental
Policy Act, as amended (NEPA), that the
National Marine Fisheries Service and
the Fish and Wildlife Service (known
hereafter as the Services) intend to hold
public information meetings on a Draft
Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)
and Conservation Plan for forest
practices in the State of Washington.
These documents were announced in
the Federal Register for a 90–day public
comment period. Representatives from
the Services and the State of
Washington will be at the public
information meetings to answer
questions about the documents and to

Committee in March, 2005 to consider
actions affecting New England fisheries

Recommendations from this group will
be brought to the full Council for formal
consideration and action, if appropriate.
