Uses of Isotopes: Meeting Notice
Nuclear Regulatory
Commission.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.
AGENCY:
SUMMARY: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission will convene a
teleconference meeting of the Advisory
Committee on the Medical Uses of
Isotopes (ACMUI) on March 8, 2005.
The meeting will be a continued
discussion on the ‘‘Update to Medical
Event Criteria Definition.’’ During this
discussion, an ACMUI subcommittee
will forward to the full ACMUI its final
recommendations regarding revision of
the medical event criteria definition in
10 CFR Part 35. NRC staff is seeking the
ACMUI’s recommendations on this
issue, as well as any recommendations
on communicating associated risks to
the public.
DATES: The teleconference meeting will
be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2005,
from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., eastern standard
time.

Planning and Procedures; Notice of
Meeting
Leon S. Malmud, M.D., will chair the
meeting. Dr. Malmud will conduct the
meeting in a manner that will facilitate
the orderly conduct of business. The
following procedures apply to public
participation in the meeting:
1. Persons who wish to provide a
written statement should submit a

The entire meeting will be open to
public attendance, with the exception of
a portion that may be closed pursuant
to 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(2) and (6) to discuss
organizational and personnel matters
that relate solely to the internal
personnel rules and practices of the
ACRS, and information the release of
which would constitute a clearly
unwarranted invasion of personal
privacy.
The agenda for the subject meeting
shall be as follows:

The Subcommittee will discuss
proposed ACRS activities and related
matters. The Subcommittee will gather
information, analyze relevant issues and
facts, and formulate proposed positions

AGENCY:
SUMMARY: In accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub.
L. 104–13), this notice announces that
the Office of Personnel Management
(OPM) has submitted to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) a
request for revision of an expiring
information collection (Fingerprint
Charts SF–87 and SF–87A; OMB No.
3206–0150). The Fingerprint Charts are
used in processing fingerprint checks
submitted to the Federal Bureau of
Investigation (FBI) to assist in
determining whether an applicant is
suitable for Federal employment or
should be granted a security clearance.
The SF–87 and SF–87A are completed
by applicants to, or incumbents of,
Government positions, positions for the
Government under contract, or by
military personnel as a basis of any
criminal history check to establish that
such persons are suitable for
employment or retention in
employment, or employment or
retention as a contractor.
It is estimated that 363,500 SF–87 or
SF–87A inquiries are sent to individuals
annually. Each form takes
approximately five minutes to complete.
The estimated annual burden is
approximately 28,630 hours.
The Privacy Act and Public Burden
language was updated to reference the
applicable executive order and reflect
the correct title of the forms officer for
OPM, respectively.
