Products) Pinellas County, FL
Pursuant to its authority under the
Foreign-Trade Zones Act of June 18,
1934, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81a–81u),
the Foreign-Trade Zones Board (the
Board) adopts the following Order:
Whereas, the Pinellas County Board of
County Commissioners, grantee of FTZ
193A, has requested authority to expand
the scope of manufacturing activity
(pharmaceutical and nutritional
products) under zone procedures within
Subzone 193A at the Cardinal Health
409, Inc., facilities in Pinellas County,
Florida (FTZ Docket 3–2004, filed 2/10/
2004);
Whereas, notice inviting public
comment has been given in the Federal
Register (69 FR 7723, 2/19/2004);
Whereas, the Board adopts the
findings and recommendations of the
examiner’s report, and finds that the
requirements of the FTZ Act and
Board’s regulations are satisfied, and
that the proposal is in the public
interest;
Now, therefore, the Board hereby
orders:
The application to expand the scope
of authority under zone procedures
within Subzone 193A on behalf of
Cardinal Health 409, Inc., is approved,
subject to the FTZ Act and the Board’s
regulations, including Section 400.28

the Foreign-Trade Zones Board (the
Board) adopts the following Order:
Whereas, the Louisville and Jefferson
County Riverport Authority, grantee of
Foreign-Trade Zone 29, submitted an
application to the Board for authority to
expand FTZ 29—Site 4 to include an
additional parcel at the Louisville Metro
Commerce Center in Louisville,
Kentucky, within the Louisville
Customs port of entry (FTZ Docket 13–
2004; filed 3/29/04);
Whereas, notice inviting public
comment was given in the Federal
Register (69 FR 18520, 4/8/04) and the
application has been processed
pursuant to the FTZ Act and the Board’s
regulations; and
Whereas, the Board adopts the
findings and recommendations of the
examiner’s report, and finds that the
requirements of the FTZ Act and
Board’s regulations are satisfied, and
that the proposal is in the public
interest;
Now, therefore, the Board hereby
orders:
The application to expand FTZ 29—
Site 4 is approved, subject to the Act
and the Board’s regulations, including
Section 400.28, and further subject to
the Board’s standard 2,000-acre
activation limit for the overall zone
project.

Mississippi, requesting an expansion of
the scope of manufacturing authority to
include new manufacturing capacity
under FTZ procedures (Docket 56–2003,
filed 10–29–2003);
Whereas, pursuant to 15 CFR
400.32(b)(1), the Commerce
Department’s Assistant Secretary for
Import Administration has the authority
to act for the Board in making such
decisions on new manufacturing/
processing activity under certain
circumstances, including situations
where the proposed activity is the same,
in terms of products involved, to
activity recently approved by the Board
(§ 400.32(b)(1)(i)); and,
Whereas, the FTZ Staff has reviewed
the proposal, taking into account the
criteria of Section 400.31, and the
Executive Secretary has recommended
approval;
Now, therefore, the Assistant
Secretary for Import Administration,
acting for the Board pursuant to Section
400.32(b)(1), concurs in the
recommendation and hereby approves
the request subject to the Act and the
Board’s regulations, including Section
400.28.
