SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In the
Federal Register of November 10, 2004
(69 FR 65201), the agency announced
that the proposed information collection
had been submitted to OMB for review
and clearance under 44 U.S.C. 3507. An
agency may not conduct or sponsor, and
a person is not required to respond to,
a collection of information unless it
displays a currently valid OMB control
number. OMB has now approved the
information collection and has assigned
OMB control number 0910–0375. The
approval expires on December 31, 2007.

AGENCY:
ACTION:
SUMMARY: The Coast Guard seeks
consultation with all interested and
affected parties in identifying ballast
water management strategies for vessels
entering the Great Lakes that declare no
ballast onboard (NOBOB). Our goal for
these strategies is to prevent the
introduction and spread of
nonindigenous species via NOBOBs. To
aid in the development of ballast water
management strategies for NOBOBs, the
Coast Guard will also hold a public
meeting in order to expand the
opportunity for the public to comment.
We encourage all interested and/or
affected stakeholders to submit
comments and to attend the public
meeting.
