ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: Announcement is made of the availability for licensing of the 
invention set forth in U.S. Provisional Patent Application Serial No. 
61/242,113 entitled ``Methods and Composition for Live Bubonic Plague 
Vaccine Based On Yersinia Pestis * * * Gene Deletion,'' filed September 
14, 2009. The United States Government, as represented by the Secretary 
of the Army, has rights to this invention.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The invention relates to the creation of 
live vaccines by removing a specific gene, which is essential for 
virulence (the ability of a pathogen to make sick or kill a human or an 
animal) from a pathogen.
