The proposed information collection is a 3-year extension, pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub. Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on December 27, 2013, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. 1337, on behalf of Macronix International Co., Ltd. of Taiwan and Macronix America, Inc. of Milpitas, California. A revised complaint was filed on December 31, 2013, and a letter supplementing the revised complaint was filed on January 14, 2014. The revised complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain non-volatile memory devices and products containing the same by reason of infringement of U.S. Patent No. 6,552,360 (``the '360 patent''); U.S. Patent No. 6,100,557 (``the '557 patent''); and 6,002,630 (``the '630 patent''). The revised complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists or is in the process of being established as required by subsection (a)(2) of section 337. The complainants request that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a general exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
