On February 13, 2012, the Office of the Federal Register (OFR or we) received a petition to amend our regulations governing the approval of agency requests to incorporate material by reference into the Code of Federal Regulations. We've set out the petition in this document. We would like comments on the broad issues raised by this petition.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection; Comment Request
NARA is giving public notice that the agency proposes to request use of a new information collection. This information collection is an order form for registrants or other authorized individuals to request information from or copies of Selective Service System (SSS) records. The public is invited to comment on the proposed information collections pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
Public Availability of the National Archives and Records Administration FY 2011 Service Contract Inventory
In accordance with Section 743 of Division C of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-117), the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) is publishing this notice to advise the public of the availability of its FY 2011 Service Contract inventory. This inventory provides information on service contract actions over $25,000 that were made in FY 2011. The information is organized by function to show how contracted resources are distributed throughout the agency. The inventory has been developed in accordance with guidance issued on November 5, 2010 by the Office of Management and Budget's Office of Federal Procurement Policy (OFPP).
