Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board 2017 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

The DNFSB is requesting public comments on its draft Fiscal Year 2018 through Fiscal Year 2022 Strategic Plan (Draft Strategic Plan).

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Improvement Act of 2016 requires each Federal agency to issue regulations implementing its statutory provisions. In this final rule, the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board amends its regulations to comply with the statutory direction.

The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (Board) published a notice in the Federal Register of April 24, 2017 concerning a public business meeting on May 11, 2017, at the Board's headquarters located at 625 Indiana Avenue NW., Washington, DC 20004-2901. The Board supplements that notice by providing specific information for how the public may participate in the meeting.

The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (Board) published a notice in the Federal Register of March 21, 2017, (82 FR 14506), concerning a closed meeting on March 23, 2017, at the Board's headquarters located at 625 Indiana Avenue NW., Suite 352, Washington, DC 20004-2901. The Board corrects that notice by changing the description of the meeting's closed status, as set forth below.
