SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) preliminarily determines that countervailable subsidies are being provided to producers and exporters of certain steel nails (steel nails) from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam). The period of review (POR) is November 3, 2014, through December 31, 2015. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results. DATES: Effective June 27, 2017. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: AGENCY: Background These preliminary results are made in accordance with section 751(a) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act). The Preliminary Decision Memorandum is a public document and is on file electronically via Enforcement and Compliance’s Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Centralized Electronic Service System (ACCESS). ACCESS is available to registered users at https://access.trade.gov, and to all parties in the Central Records Unit, room B8024 of the main Department of Commerce building. The signed and the electronic versions of the Preliminary Decision Memorandum are identical in content. Scope of the Order The product covered by the Order is steel nails from Vietnam. Methodology The Department is conducting this CVD review in accordance with section 751(a)(1)(A) of the Act.
