Description of Proceeding: On August 18, 2015, and supplemented on April 14, 2016, James and Sharon Jans, exemptee, filed an application stating that due to financial and regulatory challenges it would surrender and decommission the existing Odell Creek Hydroelectric Project. The exemptee proposes to remove the diversion structure, fish ladder, and portions of the penstock and to restore the stream channel. The generating and transmission facilities would also be removed; however, the exemptee would secure the powerhouse which would remain in place. m.
