Federal agency management nominees who serve as their agency’s Designated Agency Safety and Health Official (DASHO), or at an equivalent level of responsibility within their respective federal agencies, are preferred as management members. Scholarships are awarded to college sophomores and juniors demonstrating leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to American Indian nations or to the environment.
