The notice was published in the Federal Register on March 14, 2014 (79 FR 14540). At the request of a state workforce official, the Department reviewed the certification for workers of the subject firm. New information from the company shows that workers were paid through York International, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, Inc. The intent of the Department’s certification is to include all workers of the subject firm who were adversely affected by a shift in production to a foreign country that is party to a free trade agreement and who were paid through York International.
