Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development Utilities Programs (USDA/ RDUP) proposes to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) and conduct a public scoping meeting related to possible financial assistance to East Kentucky Power Cooperative (EKPC) for the proposed construction of two 278 MW Circulating Fluidized Bed generating units (CFBs) in Clark County, Kentucky. EKPC is requesting that RUS provide financial assistance for the proposed project.
